Services
Focused support for small and mid-sized Northern Ireland businesses — especially manufacturers — dealing with UK and EU carbon and environmental rules.
CBAM and CSRD

Northern Ireland manufacturers often trade into both the UK and EU markets, which means navigating two sets of carbon rules at once. I help you work out:
- whether the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) affect you, directly or through your customers
- what emissions and supply-chain data you’ll need, and where to get it
- how to prepare without building a reporting burden you don’t need
Carbon inventories

A carbon inventory measures your organisation’s greenhouse gas emissions across its operations and supply chain. Done well, it gives you:
- a credible baseline for customers, lenders and tender requirements
- better conversations with suppliers and customers about where emissions really sit
- non-financial management information your board can use
ESOS

I offer the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme as a service, delivered with experienced ESOS Lead Assessors. I recommend running ESOS alongside a carbon inventory and a review of your energy contracts, so the work produces savings rather than just compliance.
Contaminated land

Advice on land contamination risk, due diligence and remediation in Northern Ireland. Site investigation, testing and remediation are delivered through specialist partner firms, with me managing the work on your behalf.
Public affairs and communications
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, I support organisations with:
- consultation responses and policy positioning
- briefing MLAs, councillors and officials
- communicating environmental commitments credibly — without greenwash
Councils, public bodies and trade bodies
I also work with district councils, public bodies and trade associations: carbon baselines for council operations, climate planning, contaminated land readiness, member briefings and consultation responses. I’m open to quotations, supplier frameworks and tenders. See public sector services.
How I work
Every engagement starts with a conversation about what you actually need. I’d rather help you do the right amount of work well than sell you a bigger project.
