Farm Carbon Data Checker

Before anyone can report your farm’s carbon footprint, someone has to gather the records. Pick your enterprises, then mark each record as something you have, can get, or are missing. You’ll see how ready you are for a Scope 1, 2 and 3 report, and exactly where to find what’s missing in Northern Ireland. This checks your records only; it doesn’t calculate emissions.

Enterprises on the farm
Showing an example: a 120-cow dairy farm.

Why this matters: in Northern Ireland, livestock methane is about three-quarters of farm emissions, and processors, lenders and supermarkets increasingly ask farms for Scope 1, 2 and 3 data. Most of it already sits in records you keep for other reasons.
